How do I REGISTER TO BID?

WHERE do I register to bid?

• Go to Paideia's online bidding website: https://paideiaauction2021.ggo.bid/.

• Click GET STARTED to register. Log in to an existing Greater Giving account, or create a new account (Click the Green "Create Account" button.) Then, enter your email address and continue the registration process.  

WHEN can I register to bid?

• You can register to bid now! Once registered, you can browse items, star your favorites, and bid on items. You can also donate directly to financial aid by clicking on the Click Here to Donate button.

How do I watch the Live Show?

• The virtual auction will be streamed via Zoom Webinar. Click this link to register for the show: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_lpsF2uuqQx-K0Hvr6XAFsQ
  
  After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar on Saturday night. 

What is the virtual auction / live show on Saturday night?

• The Live Show on the night of Saturday, March 20th will include a "live" auction during which Dean the auctioneer will promote the Live Auction items, tell everyone to go online to bid on them, and then countdown to closing, at which point the winning bidder for those live auction items will be notified that they won. The Live Show will also include a "virtual paddle raise" during which Dean and Paul B. will ask everyone to donate to financial aid on the bidding site using the Click Here to Donate button. The Live Show will also be a lot of fun - including videos made by YOUR kids! The pre-show begins at 6:30pm.

When can I bid on auction items?

• You can bid on auction items now. The online auction will be open for bidding until Sunday, March 21 at 12 noon.

How does online bidding work?

Is the "Online Auction" the same as the "Silent Auction"?

• Yes, they are the same.

Is the "Virtual Auction" the same as the "Live Show"?

• Yes, they are the same.

What if I can't find my link to online bidding?

• Email us at auction@paideiaschool.org and we will re-send you the Welcome to Online Bidding link - then, just click the link to start bidding! The link is personalized to you - it has your bidding number, so don't share it with others.

When does the online auction close?

• The online auction closes on Sunday, March 21 at 12 noon. You will find out via text message if you won an auction item.

When does the "live" auction close?

• The live auction closes during the Virtual Auction on Saturday, March 20. Be sure to stay til the end to see if you won a live auction item.

How much are tickets for the virtual auction on March 20th?

• Tickets for the virtual auction are FREE!

What technology do I need for the virtual live show event on Saturday March 20th?

• You will need an Internet-enabled computer to view the Live show (Zoom Webinar) and a phone, iPad, or other device to log on to the Greater Giving bidding website, which is https://paideiaauction2021.ggo.bid/
