Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Pi Party and why should I attend?

Rooted in fun and fundraising, Pi Party aims to bring the Paideia community together while raising funds for financial aid, making the cost of a Paideia education accessible to all families. Hundreds of parents and staff members will support our efforts by gathering in person, bidding online, and volunteering.

Last year’s event raised more than $300,000 to cover costs that help support the entire Paideia experience including expenses like textbooks, aftercare, class trips, athletics, arts, transportation and other required school-related activities.

This is also an amazing opportunity for our community to gather on a large scale. Pi Party offers fun, music, food, and a live and silent auction with incredible items, many from members of our community. We hope you’ll purchase a ticket and join us to catch up with friends, make new ones, and help support financial aid.

When is the Pi Party?

Saturday, March 28 from 6 - 10:30 p.m.

Where is the Pi Party?

It’s on the Paideia campus. We will utilize the gym and practice gym, as well as the Art Lobby.

What is the Pi Party theme?

From music and theater to visual arts, literature, and more, Art Beat will highlight the incredible creativity that flows through our classrooms and campus, brought to life by students, faculty, parents, and alumni.

The arts are more than a showcase of talent; they’re a powerful reminder of how creativity transforms lives. Each year, financial aid helps make these opportunities possible for more students — strengthening our community, expanding our diversity, and inspiring the next generation of artists, leaders, and innovators.

What should I expect on the 28th?

Like years past, the event is full of community spirit, delicious food, music and a silent and live auction. Head of School Tom Taylor will host, alongside Seth Weiner, also known as Your Rocktioneer. Paideia’s own faculty band, the Snake Charmers, will hit the stage. When the live auction portion concludes, DJ Jah, Elijah Paul will keep the party rocking with music and dancing.

    Where do I park?

Limited parking is available onsite; however, we suggest attendees stay safe and use rideshare or carpool.

I know this event can get loud. Any noise control efforts this year?

We make every effort to dampen the noise. There are also areas available for conversation.

    Are kids allowed?

Pi Party is an adults-only event for parents, faculty and staff.

Tell me more about how the funds raised are used.

Paideia provided more than $4 million in financial aid to support 179 students this year. In addition to tuition, financial aid helps cover the cost of lunch, textbooks, athletic uniforms, concert attire, MARTA cards, field trips, and travel expenses.
